Poetry Project
In the Poetry Project we learned a lot about how to write a poem, how to present a poem, and how to make changes to a poem. We learned about poetic devices and how to break down a poem to find the true meaning behind it. For this project we wrote a poem about something that we felt deeply about or you could relate to well and then memorize it and present it at the all school exhibition in a poetry slam. This project has taught me a lot about how to become a better poet by writing a poem that I felt strongly about.

Happiness and Meaning Project
In the Happiness and Meaning Project we learned about what happiness means and how we can find it. We got to watch several movies and read articles about how happiness has to have meaning and what it meant. For our project we wrote a paper about what we've learned about happiness and how we can spread happiness around our communities. We also made an art piece that connected back to our essay in a some sort of way. This project has helped me to try to find happiness in my life that is meaningful and try to bring it into our society.
Model United Nations
In the Model United Nations project we learned about two issues. The first was to decide whether North Korea should have nuclear weapons or not. The second issue was to debate about the Israel Palestine conflict which is currently occurring and is unsolved. My part in the project was to be a chair and to run the conference. As a chair I didn't do all of the same assignments as everyone else did, and this kind of put my chair partner and I on our own. At the end of our project we exhibited at the college by having a debate and ended by picking a resolution to solve the Israel Palestine issue.

Mid-Project Reflection
I think that the most challenging part about this project so far has been writing background information for my issue briefs. Although I have only written one brief I am still struggling with reading information from websites and applying that to my brief. I have improved in being able to talk in front of my class by practicing talking like a chair in our first conference. I am most proud of the grade I received for my first issue brief and at first I thought that I would get a bad grade on it because of the evidence part, but was very pleased with the grade I got. I think that the quote "Complacency is where genius goes to die" means that if a person puts effort into something to make it beautiful work then he doesn't get the resignation he deserves.

Socialization and Identity Project
During this project our class learned what it means to be socialized and and how we can break the cycle of socialization. We also learned how we have were socialized whether it was through agent or target groups, subcultures, race, gender, and religion. For this project we had to rite an essay that talked about one or more of the socialization identities and create a mask that was related to our essay. The main question that was being asked in our essay was how we could break the harmful cycle of socialization? Through this project I have learned how I have been socialized and what it truly meant to be socialized.
